Singapore Hawker-Style Food Hall to Open in Las Vegas

Love Asian food? You don’t have to travel far to enjoy award-winning Asian street food in the US. Singapore’s leading lifestyle and nightlife brand, Zouk Group, is introducing an Asian hawker food hall concept to Resorts World Las Vegas.

Singapore’s culinary scene is one of the best in the world, and people in Las Vegas are getting a taste of it thanks to the Zouk Group’s initiative to bring Famous Foods Street Eats in Resort World Las Vegas.

Coming in late June or early July, the street food bazaar will bring authentic cuisines from Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, among many others. Inspired by Singapore’s bustling hawker-style food centers, this gigantic food hall which spans 24,000 square feet will have 16 stalls by the top restaurateurs and chefs.

Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den

This grunge-style speakeasy will be your go-to place if you are craving craft mixed drinks.

Ah Chun Shandong Dumpling

This shop has won the Bib Gourmand recognition from Michelin from 2013 to 2019 because of their hand-pulled noodle dishes, and Shandong Dumplings.

Famous Foods Center Bar

With only 16 seats on its center bar, you’ll want to reserve your spot here if you want to enjoy self-pour drinks from its automated beer system that cycles through a myriad of beer choices from around the world. Famous Foods Center Bar also offers cocktails and wine on tap.

Nori Bar

Good sushi can really brighten up your day. Nori Bar will be your new go-to spot if you want made-to-order rolls with fresh sashimi, seasoned rice, and chilled seafood served with nori. This establishment also has a menu of sake, seasonal teas, draft Japanese beer, and matcha green tea. 

Blood Bros BBQ

Blood Bros BBQ is a Texan favorite you shouldn’t miss. They serve classic Texas Barbeque, but to stay true to the Asian theme, the barbeque will have a Vietnamese and Chinese twist.

Streetbird Las Vegas

James Beard Award winner Chef Marcus Samuelsson will amaze you with his newest venture, Streetbird Last Vegas. Serving fried chicken varieties such as Hot Honey Chicken & Waffle, Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken, Mac n’ Greens, and Wild Wild Wings, you’ll definitely want to come back for more.

Mamak

Mamak means sundry store in Singapore. It’s the best place to visit if you want to get keepsakes and snacks, including books, souvenirs, and even take-home food kits.

Dessert

This stall served delectable pre-packaged sweets from around the world like gourmet cookies.

Tiger Sugar

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, you’ve probably heard of viral milk tea show Tiger Sugar. Known for their Black Sugar Boba Milk, this bubble tea shop will serve you the most photogenic drink ever. They also have other cold black tea variants.

Ten Suns Braised Beef

Despite the simplicity of the dish, authentic Thai beef noodle soup is hard to master. However, this legendary family shop based in Bangkok Old Town has done just that. This shop has even won a Bib Gourmand from Michelin Guide from 2019 to 2021.

Springleaf Prata Place

This family-style concept store started in Singapore. They serve South-Indian cuisine such as Teh Tarik, a frothy hot milk tea. You should also try their Chicken Curry.

Pepita’s Kitchen

This stall from Dedet de La Fuente serves the famous Filipino dish Lechon or roasted pig. Lechon Diva is perfect when paired with an ice-cold beer.

Geylang Claypot Rice

This Asian favorite won a Michelin Plate in 2016. This famous restaurant cooks their clay pot rice over a charcoal fire. It is served with salted fish, chicken chunks, and sausages, then drizzled with dark sauce.

Googgle Man’s Char Kuey Teow

Char Kuey Teow is a classic dish made with rice and egg noodles, then fried with seafood on a charcoal-fired store. This helps to produce “dragon’s breath” or a smoky aroma. This shop is called Googgle Man because the chef must wear goggles when cooking this dish to protect their eyes from the heat.
