Without her Asian roots, Sung wouldn’t have thought about an idea for her business. She shared that as she was growing up in Northern Taiwan, she spent a lot of time with her late uncle in his vegetable garden. Because of this priceless experience, she wanted to make gardening accessible for people who don’t have the luxury of space.
“I’m doing what I’m most passionate about: green living. Our products are a no-brainer, and the installation is straightforward — you can set up a home garden in less than 30 minutes and have veggies when they are ripe,” she said.
Sung was inspired to create gardens for city-dwellers after seeing her uncle grow veggies during her childhood in Taiwan. She credits her parents who seeded the initial investment for her successful business.
“My tip that might help other young entrepreneurs is to find people who believe in you and want to see you succeed.”
