SSENSE is spoiling dogs with their new luxury line featuring some of the best names in fashion, from Burberry to Versace, they got our pups covered.

Ready to have your dog dressed better than you?

SSENSE has announced a new pet fashion collection with renowned luxury brands made to match its existing designer selection for humans. They are giving a whole new meaning to the popularly known meme ‘doge’ and designed the entire collection exclusively for our puppy friends and their jetsetting ‘parents’. With brands such as Burberry, Versace, VIP,  Stutterheim, Ashley Williams, Paul Smith, Moncler Genius, 032c, Marine Serre, Heron Preston, and many more – these dogs are sure to be owning the streets.

The idea to escalate into pet wear stemmed from SSENSE’s success with their Instagram hashtag series known as #SSENSEInterns. Through the hashtag, the company showcased its very own employees dressing up their dogs in various fashion statement pieces. Viewers thoroughly enjoyed the footage and it paved the way to the company’s new mission of bonding people and their pets in style. Brigitte Chartrand, Senior Director of Womenswear Buying for SSENSE, stated:

“We saw an immediate surge in engagement whenever we posted #SSENSEInterns on our Instagram account. For many of the brands we partnered with, this was the first time they considered producing dog apparel and accessories, making it a fun project to collaborate on.”

SSENSE’s Paw-pular Products:

The first set of the collection includes products like leashes, collars, harnesses, collar charms, sweaters, and an array of outerwear clothes designed by the various brands. There has been talk of notable items making a bang among the rest. Heron Preston’s rain jacket is making big waves with its signature bright orange color. Puffy dog coats from Moncler, Burberry’s hoodies, and zip-up fleece jackets from VIP are very popular, our favorite is the Versace Bath Robe

SSENSE’s arsenal of collections by MISBHV, Maisie Wilen, Martine Ali, ALYX 9SM, and Thom Browne continues to expand as more products will be released by spring of 2020. The company has also hinted at the expansion of the pet wear line in the future. For now, product prices range from $60 to $1395, but let’s be honest, there truly is no price for achieving twin status with your dog.
